    I am currently building this kit and to be honest I have replaced most wood including the planking with what I have in stock. What was supplied was too think and brittle to work with even after rehydrating. Once I completely started to do things the way I wanted I am really enjoying the build. All the cast items are so brittle and broken I had to make my own paddle wheels and other parts and this has been a major part of the enjoyment for me as these are really rare to see these days. Currently building the side supports and landings as well as handrails that are all replaced from kit materials.

    I use these guys for buying most everything and they ship to the States. I just ordered several things again from them for my Victory kit that I bought used online and was missing a ton of things so making my own and buying replacements.
