    it’s been a long time ago since I made a ship or, in this case, a submarine. Usually I’m more into big diorama’s like the Tainanmen Squere, the house of Anne Frank, my 1/700 scale cutaway Tracy Island and Hitlers bunker but a few months ago I bought this submarine and started the build. Found your blog and since then it’s my guideline. In fact I use your blog more then the manual 😀. Your “extra’s are amazing and, since I also use a lot of 3D prints for my builds, they inspire me a lot. Perhaps you should post your 3D designs on Sketchfab so others can use them for their projects. I’m sure I would..🥴 Oh, I bought the extra PE-sets but I'm a sucker with PE....did some "training" on some spare stuff but when it comes to glue parts.......I HATE superglue ! It hardly ever glues and when I use Zipp-kicker it turns into concrete...how do you glue PE-parts ??

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
