    first I will carve it a little to place a hatch, place a tiny knop on it and round two lines with the thin mahogany strips... the planning is ok but I wonder the result

    by the way I want to place a barrel under the ladders and looking for a suitable wood to shape. I did not want to buy and pay for such a little thing...

    I have been on a business trip for 5 days; therefore I could not be busy with kit... But I followed the topics in NRG and thought some more modifications which I will try as soon as possible. Thanks for your comments desertwolf I also learned some stuff from your log and curiously following it...

    Today I only put some small inforcements to the bowsprit deck...

    As I did the right and left part seperately it was very diffucult to make the lines at the same level... If I had a chance to make it again; I would build them at the same time... There is a slight difference but could be worse; so I like the result

    Finally the right one finished too... bowsprit deck mission is done

    As you can see in the photos first I draw the spaces between the holes. I drilled small ones and then enlarged them about 1.5 mm dia. Finally I rounded the edges and gave the last shape.

    Building the bowsprit deck is a hard and boring step... I gave a break for the right part and started to do something else...

    yes I noticed the same problem for a few days... but I couldn't understand the reason too...

    thanks buck... nowadays I am busy with that galleon whenever I have free time...

    I fixed the bowsprit deck; it fit perfectly to its place... now the right one...

    I postponed it till today... but I have to do... I started to built the bowsprit deck as left and right side separately. Then I will fix them together.
