a very nice build / kit.........must have been a lot of fun building her!
-
awesome....very nice work indeed!
-
thank you good sir all of the ideas were conceived from the very beginning. there was no thought process during the build. it's probably why this was my fastest build - 4 1/2 months
-
fantastic build Kats! she's absolutely beautiful!
-
very nice build! clean and very well done
-
thanks you very much Nils. there are a few thing that need a bit of bashing....but the kit does build into a very nice ship. I would suggest it to anyone. thanks again
-
thank you Nils......it took me about five month to build. I was told that it is still in Tom's possession .......prominently displayed at his home. I would think, that after seeing the work that you do....you would have it finished. PM me with some pictures....I'd love to see it!
I'm a sucker for eye candy

thank you very much Jack......this is the second model I've done with full sails. I had fun doing this one
-
thanks Borge.....the only things that are missing are the oars....this was my first wood build, and I guess I can use the 'I didn't know better' excuse....LOL! the crane is supposed to be manually operated with a crank and all, but I thought it would be cool to put a motor on it. I really liked working on this kit, even though it was about 20 - 30 years old when I got it
-
thanks Borge. there's a bit of bashing done here.....the light boxes are scratch made. it's a very nice kit.
-
thanks Daniel
-
thank you Peter.....it's the reason behind kits in general.....they just make them......we have to do 'em up right. this is actually a very nice kit......thanks again
-
thank you very much Anja

thank you very much Ed. these kits are really nice.....they leave so much to the imagination.

if anyone woukld like to read the build log I've written on this build, you can see it here:
The M&M fun ship – {part 1} « M&M 'fun' ship – a 1:33 scale semi scracth build
-
sorry crazy yank......tried to find the character in this scale, but was unable to. I could only work with.....with what I had. besides, it killed me to put these on the deck......but, that's waht the admiral wanted.
thanks for looking in.

thank you Jack...this is the second build I started and the first one I finished. I like these builds because there is so much that can be added to them. I do have a full rigged ship in the works....sometimes I think the type of ship is what makes a kit harder to do than others.
thank you for your kind word!
-
I notice that there are no perls on the boom....ws this taken before it was finished?
-
you latest build.......very well done.
-
very well done Bob.....very clean looking.
-
all I can say is......NICE!
-
what a sweet build this is......beautiful work BOB!
-
thanks Frank.......this build is too unique not to. just goes to show that a boat is seen by what's on the deck........all you need is a good hull.
thanks agian for the good word!

thank you Jesse...the other critter in there with the lobster is real.......got it at the same time we got the starfish. my son when he was little, we used to go in the rocks at the beach - low tide, and catch things. fun times.......I kept them all this time!
thank you gents for the likes.
