  1. Hi Igor. No probs! Have you considered doing a build log so that we can see and learn how you put the ship vertically into the bottle? It's one of those things that we all marvel at, and whilst others in this Forum have shown us previously, it still wouldn't do any harm to see how you've done it.

    Cheers

  2. Hi Nils. Thanks. This boat was done about 10 yrs ago. I' had displayed it in the Gallery before, but Shawn asked for more photos (which are now posted). The son a previous owner of the real Binker also contacted me via thGallery tonight for more details and I was hopefully able to assist.

  3. Hi Omega 1234, You have produced a very good likeness with only a book to help you - fantastic. And thank you for your kind words, I am hoping to get her back in the water next spring, it is proving difficult to get any further information for her other than that given by Uffa Fox, I may have to make some educated guesses.

Hi Binkerdoune. Cheers and all the best for the restoration. Happy sailing!

  4. Great Model, I would recognise her anywhere. I am in the process of rebuilding the actual yacht Binker in Scotland. She is now repanked, new deck etc and we are starting to try and piece together her sailing rig. Do you have any photos of her or do you have any contact with any previous owners? Many thanks

Hi Binkerdoune.  That's amazing and incredibly exciting to hear that you're restoring the actual Binker!  Sadly though, I don't have any sources for further info.  All I had to build her were the plans from a book and my imagination for the interior.  I wish you every success for the restoration and her new lifespan!  All the very best!!
