Burroak Posted December 22, 2015 #1 Posted December 22, 2015 Is there a way to dry wood faster that has been soaking in water and then clamped in place on the ships deck? I didn't know if anyone had used a hair dryer to dry the wood quicker. GREG H.
upwood Posted December 22, 2015 #2 Posted December 22, 2015 Hair dryer is OK, but make sure Not to have it on too hot a setting and play the air evenly over the wood to be dried, don't concentrate on getting one part dry at a time. otherwise, if you have an airing cupboard, put it in there overnight. happy modelling, Upwood Burroak, mtaylor, CaptainSteve and 1 other 4
