Hi,

I am building the HMS Julia which was constructed in Ipswich in 1806 (wrecked in 1817).  (My daughter is named Julia)  I obtained the plans from the British admiralty years ago but it lacks a sail and rigging plan.  It is a royal navy, 16 gun brig sloop of the seagull class.  It was 284 tons, 93 feet, 26 foot beam.  I would like to come as close as possible to what the rigging should be- any ideas?

Thanks

I see this question has been floating around a while. A similar class would be the Cruizer class. The rigging and sail details are given in Petrejus' book 'Irene', if you can get a copy on the used book market.
