I chose to be a sponsor after being contacted by Kurt. This site is a wealth of information for the ship enthusiast. While I am a American Civil War guy, I have a real interest in rigged sailing vessels. I look forward to learning new information and modeling techniques to improve my skills as well. spars Posted December 22, 2017 #2 Posted December 22, 2017 Welcome from another Civil War guy! My interest started in 1960 when as a ten year old I learned about the war during the centennial. I spent time in OK during early '72 at Fort Sill. Hope you enjoy the site. It can be argued the Civil War made greater strides in warfare on water than on land. mtaylor, geoff and EJ_L 3
