You can’t go wrong with Vallorbe files. Pricey but great.

 

I’m not sure about this but a 4 cut is very fine. I bought a similar set and they were actually too fine for my needs. Good for jewelry work but not for mine. I ended up with 00 cut which worked great... too coarse for for some work but not mine...Moab

Yep, 4 is a fine cut. I use them for finishing work or critical fittings. I have some other files for rough work.

 

I also use a lot of 600 & 800 grit paper. Takes a bit longer but I find I use less wood filler to correct my over aggressive filing / sanding 😋.
