I'm new to this site and have liked and appreciated what I've read so far in browsing.  I have resumed a long delayed build of a 1:12 scale Dark Harbor 17, purchased from the Laughing Whale. I'm now at the rigging stage and would appreciate some advice about how to attach/use the blocks, particularly the iron-stropped blocks. They are 1/4 inch cast britannia metal and I don't see a way to attach a block to the deck or to a line. Any tips or advice will be appreciated.

Welcome to MSW Eddson,

If you could please post in the new members and intro yourself that would be a nice thing.

 

Regarding your problem, can you post some photos of these blocks?   Are they internally stropped or externally stropped?

I apologize for the delay in responding to your post which I appreciate, things kind of got away from me. I have figured out the block issue I was asking about and have made progress. Thanks again.
