druxey Posted August 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2013 Bullseyes are not really blocks as such. They are circular 'doughnuts' of wood to lead lines fairly though. Now considered an endangered species of tree and I think its been replaced with other materials for that reason. If they are Lignum Vitae they should sink in water due to the woods amazing density. Jersey City Frankie the bullseyes are scale models of the real ones.....(They float) I was very lucky to be gifted a qty. of Ship modeling "STUFF" tools, books, parts,plans,paint,old kits,etc. My wife mentioned that I was starting to model ships and one of her friends offered her late husbands modeling stuff to me.
