Hi, new, to the group.  Hoping for some help.  I am building, from scratch a wooden model of the Black Pearl.  I am in a quandry as to how many sails there were on the ship.  Any help?

Hi Phil,

 

can’t help you on your question, but I would suggest renaming your topic into something more specific: ‘How many sails on Black Pearl’ or something like that. That will trigger a larger response than just ‘sails’

And: which BP do you mean: the 2017 yacht, or the three masted pirate ship?

There was also a Black Pearl yacht in Newport, Rhode Island back in the 1960s.

Hi and welcome, Phil. If you're doing the model from the movie, I'd suggest you do a google image search for the Black Pearl - that should answer your questions, not only the sails but also the shape and details of the hull.

 

I'd suggest also that you begin a build log for the model you're making - it's a great way to get help and guidance from the members here. Instructions are at
