I've just begun a 54mm resin keelboat that I plan on heavily modifying, including using scale model wood planks to plank, rather than paint, the hull.

The hull comes in two parts, they don't fit together really well, but that's fine as once I plank it, the seam won't be visible.

Anything further to share on this project? As well as any background info? Looks sort of like a Missouri River keelboat, is that the intended prototype?
