Hello everyone.... My name is ChuckCHS and I'm working on the cross section of the USS Conie. Kit Nbr MS2045. This is a first attempt at a birders log so please excuse any misspellings, grammar errors, and especialy any remarks that may tend to be offense to anyone. I assure you, that's not my intent.

I started this model after several more difficult starts of other MS kits but have found this one probably just as difficult, for a beginner that is, but at least not as so overwhelming. IMG_2149.HEIC

I dislike waiting for glue to cure, just about as much as watching grass  grow, so I've elected to also start smaller bit & pieces as well. Currently I working on the Mast, thank goodness there's only one, the cannons, the gun deck, the rope ladder and the yards. So far, i'm enjoying the processes. Making big parts out of small parts is very enjoyable.

One thing I really hate is glueing my fingers together with CA. Starting to use Titebond which seems to set, if left alone, after a few hours. I've seen other suggestions on the forums which I plan to also try.

I'm going to hit the submit button now. Hope it works out.

Regards

Chuck
