I want to make a few different types of clamp, have just seen another thread where someone made some long clamps out of 10mm ply with a bandsaw, could probably make those easily enough, I need to clamp something an inch or so deep on my deck where the blue line is, it needs to be glued to the deck flat and pulled to the side bending with the shape of the wall. Not sure what to use, so figured my laser might be able to help me. Have a 20w diode ortur laser so can get through 10mm ply easily enough or 2 5mm boards so I can make the hinge easier.

That's the one I was talking about that I'd seen funnily enough, that someone on here had made with a band saw, when I've got some time to sort my shed out I'm going to start using my laser again, might make a cradle for the ship to go onto while I'm working on it, if I get around to it I'll upload it, I think it's about time I learn autocad to make this stuff easier to make as a whole and not in 2d sections.

Great!    I can see modifying that in a lot of different sizes and shapes.

That's what I thought, could make some sharp ends so it can get onto more awkward places, or some stepped ends to accommodate a few different wood sizes I'll be using, will have to be careful with glue though as I could end up flying the clamp to my ship!
