Howdy everyone, the last few months I have been spending a bit of time trying to learn blender.  I am also putting together the Amati/Victory models Pegasus kit for a family member and it's providing a great training model for designing my own upgraded parts.  The Amati kit isn't too bad, but I have found a number of things that I can upgrade with my Resin 3d printer, and some work in blender.  I decided to try my hand at a new stern piece to replace the photo etch stern.

I would greatly appreciate some honest feedback from the members here.  This is a rough draft and many areas still need some adjusting and cleaning up,  I am going to redo the Perseus figures as I didn't notice medusa's head got deformed a bit.

Please let me know if it's too much, needs something more, doesn't look period correct, etc. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.  I tried to study sterns from contemporary models for inspiration, but I'm still pretty new to this 3d modelling stuff.

Thanks for looking.

Well, honest feedback it is. The hand-carved tafferel carving attached has tried to follow the original draught and period style. Compare this to what you currently have and this may offer some guidance. Very little background remains. Compare this with the draught:

Your layout looks more like a few separate figures placed together. If you could connect them all more so that it becomes a cohesive whole, I think it would look better. You can see that in Druxey's example; everything seems connected because it's more filled out.

I think I still have the CNC carving of the Pegasus somewhere. (You could buy it on eBay back then, made by a Russian shop, if I'm not mistaken.) I'll see if I can take a picture.
