This is only the second wood ship kit I've built, and by far the biggest. During COVID I built the Model Shipways launch and enjoyed it. As I've always been fascinated with sailing ships.

 

Previously I've built mostly aircraft and some armor, preferring to stick to old and hard to find kits, and trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear. I've been learning  quite a bit, like read the instructions, then read them again.

 

Anyways, been plugging ahead with La Pinta. It's been fun, making many errors, and enjoying fixing those errors.
