I've taken on a new build whilst I try and find my mojo to tackle the rigging on my HMAV Bounty build.  So gone with something new to me which hopefully will "refresh" my model making interest a bit.

This is an unusual looking aeroplane, and having built a Fairey Gannet, you can almost see the lineage of ugliness!  One of the earliest specifically designed for use from aircraft carriers, the Flycatcher was in use from 1923 to 1934.  Apparently well liked by crews and a good performer for it's time.  There are plenty of references out there on the internet, so will leave just this link for those interested.

The manufacturer is also new to me, Armory Models Group from Ukraine.  Wasn't sure what to expect and so a first batch of pictures of what you get to follow.  This is a limited run mixed media kit, plastic, P.E. and printed parts.  The builder is also expected to supply their own parts for minor details; wire and styrene rod mostly.  From my initial look over the sprues there is quiet a bit of flash and some of the details are a little "soft" compared to Tamiya quality kits.  The only other extras I have got are wire bracing wires and P.E. seatbelts.

I'm not expecting a kit that will fall together, but given it is something different, it should keep me engaged during the frustrating bits.

More pictures of the kit contents and instructions soon.  Thanks for looking in.
