A larger version of the straight and curve files would be very useful.

That seems like a very reasonable price for a handmade file/rasp. At work our sculpters have hand made Italian rasps and rifflers that run upwards of $75.00 each.

My set from micro mark was about $25.00 iirc and I have been very pleased with them.

Cheap rasps are a snare and delusion. Quality ones, cared for, will last you. (The same goes for any and all tools!)

Druxey,

I cant agree more, I have a box full of cheap files rasps and rifflers. Very few of the cheap files I bought in my younger years were worth the packaging they came in. There is a time and a place for cheap tools, but you cant go wrong buying the best you can afford.

SRC and Druxey hit it on the head of the nail. It all comes down to you get what you pay for. I buy a good amount of my tools from "Lee Valley" they are not cheap but they are top of the line, but everyone has there likes and dislike for what they buy.
