Yesterday I stumbled across a card model site that is new to me, called Kartonowki. As the name suggests, it's a Polish site, and there is no option for viewing it in English (unless your web browser can do so). I have always said that the Poles must have a gene that makes them natural-born card model masters, and this site's gallery (nearly 5000 entries) supports my theory. Check it out if you have time -- you'll be amazed!

I see the stats showing 21.6k images in the Gallery. When I click on the "Gallery" link in the masthead I see 'new images' and a list of recent contents. But I do not see a way to get to other galleries to see more of the 21.6k images. I know I often miss the obvious. I looked through this thread and searched other things. I did see a couple of threads about the Gallery in this sub-forum. But nothing that points me to the whole gallery. I can search for ship names, member names, etc. to get to subsets of the galleries. But just to peruse the gallery, I don't see a link/direction. Any advise? Am I not seeing the obvious?

Hi, long ago in the Gallery of Models there were several images of the HMS Lizard 1697 which is now housed in the Pitt Rivers Museum. There are currently no such images, or al least I couldn't find them. Does anyone know how to get them back? I think, now, to make a model of this boat and those images would be of great help. Thank you.

please read GALLERY ANNOUNCEMENT
MSW posted a topic in How to use the MSW forum - **NO MODELING CONTENT**
Hey, folks! Have you noticed that we now have 37 pages of gallery albums in kit builds alone? That's awesome!! Unfortunately, the gallery hasn't gotten quite the amount of scrutiny that other areas of the forum have received -- it's sort of like the wild, wild west of MSW (we even found some spam that slipped in there under the radar!). One simple thing that we can all do to make the gallery more user-friendly is to think for a moment about what should go in a gallery album title. In my own experience, whenever I use the search feature for the gallery, I'm looking for the name of a particular ship. So guess where the name of your model should be? That's right -- it needs to go in the title of your gallery album! So please make sure you put it there, thank you! You can add other elements to your title if you wish, but please take note that your album and each of its images are already stamped with your username, so adding that to your title is redundant. Thanks in advance!
