Hi Dominic I am glad to hear you got the figurehead ok ,I will keep it just in case others need it. I keep looking at that German site thinking what should I do with the pearl base. I bought a skull in some Hippy shop in town , but it needs painting I will post a picture of it soon.

Hi George sorry that I have not replied sooner life's been a bit hectic here ,between the twin granddaughter's and life not had much time. I phoned Hachettepartworks  yesterday to moan at them, as issue's 4-7 are well late and they told me there are having supply problems .so at moment I am   twiddling my thumbs,Dominic you still need that Figure head  m8.

I am glad to hear your son wants to make the black pearl, at the moment I am still waiting for parts 4-7. I phoned them yesterday to have a right moan at them as they are well late, they told me they are having trouble with the supplier's.

sorry Dominic I missed you last post, six kids  I would say I would be pulling my hair out, but nature and age is taking its toll .

Hi Mark I ordered some Isopropyl and it arrived last week, I have just not had the time to try it out as of yet. I am just a little concerned with the first Bulkhead it is not quite a true 45 only out a little  bit out  it must have moved as the glue dried.

Hi ZyXuz Antony QA Revenge and moflea and I am sorry to confuse you Antony, I meant for you to look at derGohfelder's  build, on that site "other ships build "like Dominic posted.it is an Amati  kit released by Hatchettepartworks.  Moflea the The Black Pearl has been out in Russia I do believe they had it first I could be wrong though.

I do believe Chris Watton  designed the model ship, I remember reading somewhere on this forum the other day,cant remember where I read it.

I will Pm you Dominic just a bit cream crackered had twin granddaughters over again today .

Hi Dominic small world  I have a spare figure head if you need it m8,I went to WH smiths and  got a spare one just in case, I know my luck if Dinosaurs still roamed the planet I'm the one they would poo on .

Hello Eamonn  QA Revenge and spear thank you for your kind comments the pearl's Length is 80cm height 69.5cm and width is 31.5cm all sizes are approximate.its is MDF cut by a laser and I am a member of partworksmodels  and model space forum's both of which have Black Peal builds in a different stages of  progress. The Black pearl was first released in Russia and then Germany I believe.

and at last my build board .I forgot to add only the bow section is glued,I have tried everything to try and unglue it but it is refusing to budge .I am awaiting the rest of the hull sections ,and keel strengthening parts before I glue any thing else.
