Down load to your pc, I like to open things in paint then I use a program called paint.net, you can use any one of a dozen or more photo software programs, then upload to site.

I built the same boat back in the 50's, for the windows I used small wooden matches. They came in a little rectangle box. Back in the day. Scientific's were all I could afford. I was only 8 or nine when I built my first. Had to cut the parts out by hand.

Clove hitches are nice and you are right about cutting too close. Did it once before, not on rat lines, Made me want to cry.

Build a door jam for the door much like you did for the window. The door fits in the  jam, no curve needed.

As an author of 4 books, the way I understand copyright is: One does not infringe on ones copyright unless one makes profit. 

Maybe it's me, maybe I'm wrong but generally don't we hobbyist only drive nails through hull planks and into the available bull heads. If the framing is accurate as shown in the picture of the Naiad Framing Package. I need to add more nail, Right?

I know, it's how I did it years ago when eyes were young and hands were steady. It is a very tedious way but I believe accurate.

Back in the day I used this method to tie rat lines. Does anyone have a different way and why?

I'll always have a spot in my heart for the queens of the river. I grew up reading stories of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn on the banks of the Mississippi in St. Paul, Minnesota. Every once in a while one would come all the way up to St. Paul. Couldn't go further because the locks were too narrow at Minneapolis for the old girls.

On actual equipment it is the opposite, green is starboard and red is port. I can always tell if someone is going or coming. Except auto, if they work red is stop.

Only power tool I use is a variable speed dremel. I have a great assortment of attachment. I recon I have two, if one counts a refrigerator, I like my occasional beer.

Take some exploring and a couple of trial with errors, but this site has a lot of cool features.

Your doing a fantastic job, I love the way your hull turned out. 

I've had to make a trip up to the Northern 50. Gotta get the rest of our things from our Las Vegas home. Pick up ships for the shelf. Granddaughter wedding. We won't be home to Mazatlan for a least another 6 weeks. So until then all I can do is observe.
