Hello, I'm at my second project after the Bluenose, I'm attacking the Bounty
If you have any advice, I'll take everything that helps me progress
If someone is to build the same, I would like him to advise me if there are any mistakes or things to share with me
P.s. My friend Pierre is also doing it 200 km from my house, we will share our knowledge to make this model

Hi Felix, welcome to MSW. When you start a build log, click on “ create” at the top of the page. In the drop down menu you will see “ Status “ and “Topic” . Choose Topic instead of Status. Then select Forum. Choose Build logs for ship model kits by era. In this case you wil choose Kit build logs for subjects built from 1751- 1800. Then give your build log a title. Name of Ship/ Your Name/ Kit Manufacturer/ Scale. When you use Status to make a post any replies you receive will not bump your post to the top of the page. Good luck with your Bounty.

Questions about Artesania Latina HMS BOUNTY
felix nadeau replied to felix nadeau's topic in Wood ship model kits
Thank you all, I will try to translate my comments and questions, if there are manufacturers who are doing it now or we have already done it, I am open to any comment and stuff that could help me Here is the support kit for the construction and I will place my keel to be able to align the pairs, to my question of the torque # 4, I put the laser and it confirms to me that it must be lowered to the maximum and sand it later if necessary, then sand the brown cut of the laser Thanks -
Questions about Artesania Latina HMS BOUNTY

Here's already a question? The first pair (piece # 4) exceeds the keel about 5 mm, do I have to sand it to be equal? If I climb it, the bridge will be higher in this place! What is the best support for the keel and ensure that couples are in their right? -

felix nadeau replied to felix nadeau's topic in Wood ship model kits

I need more .25mm brown cotton thread rigging line for a Artesania Latina Bluenose ll kit i'm trying to finish. It's an older kit(10+yrs) but I believe the thread hasn't changed. I bought some from a sourc, but when it arrived it was obviously not what the packaging said it was. It is actually (too smal) and I'm having a hard time finding the correct line. Does anyone out there have some of this that they are willing to sell and ship To Canada ,Quebec , Any help is appreciated as this has my project on hold until I can get more. Felix Nadeau
