Hi,
I am building the HMS Julia which was constructed in Ipswich in 1806 (wrecked in 1817). (My daughter is named Julia) I obtained the plans from the British admiralty years ago but it lacks a sail and rigging plan. It is a royal navy, 16 gun brig sloop of the seagull class. It was 284 tons, 93 feet, 26 foot beam. I would like to come as close as possible to what the rigging should be- any ideas?
Thanks

Thank you for the great suggestions. I was thinking of contacting Caldrcraft but opted to purchase the Irene book off amazon. The elements and practice of rigging- all I can say is wow. That is going to take time to digest- i'm sure it is worth it but wow is my first impression.
