Ahoy! We are pleased to inform you, that our new paper model American Battleship: USS „NEW MEXICO” (BB-40) is available for sale now. Scale 1/200. A3 paper format, offset. The cardboard model consist of: - 24 pages – assembly instructions (over 150 drawings) - 28 sheets with details to cut out.We - Model description and short history of the battleship USS „New Mexico” Also accessories are available for the model: laser-cut details and resin parts (3D print). Ahoy! I have just started building of the model NEW MEXICO (BB-40) in scale 1:200. Scratch model. The project is executed by software: Rhinoceros and Corel. The model contains laser cut elements that I designed myself. The Hull frames were made of 1.0 mm thick cardboard.

CCOYLE: Thank you for nice welcome on the forum. Card models from Poland...... Szkutnik has published only one cardboard model : USS "HORNET" (CV-8) . Maybe USS "NEW MEXICO" (BB-40) will be published in this year. More interest us wooden models of sailing ships. Below the project 3D of the sailing ship Saint Philippe in scale 1/72. We are currently designing decorative ornaments for this model. Who knows, maybe in the future a wooden model kit will be created, if will be the interest this theme.

AHOY! My name is Krzysztof (Kris). I am 48 years old. I live in Poland. I am a seaman and modeller. Together with my friends (SZKUTNIK TEAM) we deal with the preperation of designes for paper, resin and wooden models. We also make drawings and renders for catalogs and books. I make projects for CNC devices. Especialy I like models of sailing ships that a lot od decorative elements.
