    Hello all - just joined, after scouring the interwebs for various sources of information to help me complete my build of the Endeavour (AL kit). It's been 25+ year 'off and on' build, (obviously more off than on), but with the COVID19 lockdown here in Australia I've now got some spare to hopefully complete the build - in the 250th anniversay year of Cook's landing in Australia. I'm now at the stage of rigging, and I'm hoping to find some handy tips, as well as some of the information missing from the AL kit rigging instructions. Cheers!

About the NRG

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
