    Kevin, Thank you for all your videos of America 1851. I just completed building this kit and learned from your videos. You helped me avoid a few mistakes but I still made so many mistakes of my own.

    Merry Christmas

    I have not posted for awhile but I have been busy finishing Covid 5-9 and working on the Constructo Schooner America (many thanks to Kevin Kenny for his build log videos).  The America is pushing my skills to the limit but as my skills improve I may tackle a larger ship model versus the smaller boat models I've built so far.

     

    With the challenging 2020, my son added a star to our sailboat for the holidays. I think all of us can use another star to wish for a better 2021.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
