  1. Hi Pav, Molasses, could you provide the source for the drawing for the white ship. Is it original? Thanks Tjeerd
  2. Off topic, yes die experimenten the same problem. On the ship, I have no clue, other than that it has to be a RN destroyer, from the A to I class, as the J class had twin mount main guns, and the A to Is had 4 single mounted guns. About fifty ships to check pictures on! Cheers, Tjeerd
  3. Ok, rms Campania, taken into service as HMS Campania in WW1 after finishing her life as an ocean liner. Cheers Tjeerd http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/47/HMS_Campania_1.jpg
  4. Hi Christiano, In any event if its any of the three I named, I will yield to you, as you did the thinking on it, I merely checked your hunch. But you are right, shouldn't shoot a salvo like that. Cheers TJ
  5. I think you are spot on unless you consider the name on the ship, which is not legible :-(, however it's only 6 characters. I can make out Liverpool below though. So which of the other big four is it then? Baltic, Celtic or Cedric? Can't find the exact picture though! Best Tjeerd
  6. Hi Revier, Thanks for coming back with your wonderful build! And also thanks for the link to the Chapman plans - the high resolution files will benefit all here. If they are not there already, perhaps it can be part of a sticky topic under plans and scratchbuilding. Regards, Tjeerd
  7. For Germany there is Arkowood. Bit on the expensive side, but good for smaller quantities. All major wood varieties, including swiss pear, box, lime. http://www.arkowood-shop.de/ Maybe a suggestion to include in the top post.. They also have a French portal http://www.arkowoodfrance.de/html/body_les_bois_de_arkowoodfrance.html But perhaps our friends from the Arsenal have oher suggestions. Best regards, Tjeerd
  8. Hi Ed, I am so excited - I will receive your book and the Euryalus book in the next two days. Its been held up in German customs... Tjeerd
