Many thanks guys. Wintergreen... A mate of mine printed them. Printed a load from 10 mill to 50 mill. Just chose my size to fit. ☺ Any size you want, same as the barrels. Cool eh ?

Yes. Got those but as Neal says, they are not that accurate. OK for hull build and general look but not totally detailed properly.

Thank you Flying fish. Really helpful. I am not using the plans anymore as the details are vague but constantly pausing the film to catch details. Keep helping me please on various issues. Thank you kind gent ☺

Many thanks, so confusing as these shots show same dia. I feel it would look ascetically better thinning halfway up but these pics seem not to. 😩

My Orca build is 1/20ish scale so I am thinking of 8mm mast, 600 high which is the length of the boat. Do masts keep their dia. The full height or should I reduce it halfway to say 6mm. Not sure on this. Any advise please. Hard to define from the film Jaws. 😟

Flying cabin with a bit of colour added. Question...My mast is gonna be 8mm. Should I narrow it halfway towards the top ?

Getting some base colour down and generally detailing. Barrels a bit too weathered. Will tonne them down. But general colours for the boat seems pretty good.

Fantastic reference pictures. Gets a bit obsessive as you say about detail. Got to try and find a happy medium or our builds will never happen. Enjoying your blog.

Yes I am leaving some major parts unglued to paint before fixing, like the flying bridge and roof and the cabin back wall to access the inner part. Will also finish the decks prior. And of course the pulpit. ☺️
