    Your photos show that one does not require a full blown shop of tools and huge workspace to build a great looking ship model.  They are of course preferable, but not at all are they a must.  

     

    Small toolbox I could fit in the side pocket of my back-pack. The challange was getting the built one back lashed to the ramp of a C130 Hercules - took me three days to build a box strong enough to sit on ! - oh, and the user name ? I use that on a few ship forums, and it's a statement of fact and why I ended up in the Air Force instead 😉

    discovered this site a couple of days back - what a wealth of information ! I'm not a total newbie, and have built Mantua's HMS Shark, Artesania's Le Hussard, and, after 15 years untouched, dragged Corel's HMS Unicorn out and decided to finish it. Le Hussard, and the hull of Unicorn I built 20 years ago whilst on a long detachment to Turkey with the RAF - basic building cionditions !
