    I’m new to web sight i just started the pt-109. Did the first 3 steps. This is where it is confusing. I glued the 7 pieces to my board. Now where does S-4 go do I use it just for setting it up. Then get rid of it or cut it down to fit to frame 7. The instructions are terrible. thank you Les

    To whom ever i just started putting the pt-109 to feather and I ran into a stumbling block on it. What it is the stringer S4 what do you do with it? No Mention of them it in the instructions. How to attach it to S 1-2. Do you attach it to them. The book is horrible!! thank you Lester F Rowe Jr

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
