  2. Looking for a representative model of the Gale, a passenger ship that sailed from Rotterdam to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1752. J. Franklin Wright's rendering shows her in Halifax Hbr. (attached) but I'm unsure as to how accurate it is. She brought Foreign Protestants from Europe to Nova Scotia. According to TheShipsList, "the Gale was a three-masted ship with a square stern and a gilded figurehead of a gale. The ship was about 120 feet long and 30 feet wide. It had a crew of 30 and could carry up to 300 passengers. The ship was painted white with red and blue stripes along the hull. She had 18 guns for defense." It would be great if there's a model available of the Gale or a reasonable facsimile. Thank you ! Bob Collins
