    Hi, My name is Jim. I'm new to the group. A retired tool and die maker who finally indulge myself in model making. My first wood project is the 1848 stage coach that Kevin built. My biggest question is: What finish do I use on the outside of the coach. The instructions just don't specify. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    HI, I'm a new member. Starting the 1848 stage coach mentioned above. This is my first crack at a wood model. I'm a retired tool and die maker who has made models in different types of metals. The instructions are not the best to say the least. I guess my biggest question at this point would be what finish to use on the body of the coach. i find nothing in the instructions explaining what to use to finish it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
