Would like to install lights in this model, especially since the instructions tell exactly how to do it. Before I could start on the 2nd deck I had to start on the electric wiring. Was a little bit afraid how to get the access to the battery compartment after finnished the 2nd deck, but there will be a removable grate hatch here later. Finnished the 2nd deck and worked a lot on the stern. Now it is time to paint parts of the model black. Also have to finish sanding the 2nd deck.

Worked a little more this week. The main frame is finished, and started planking the lower gun deck. Needs some sanding and then I think I'll put on a clear coat. Also started on some details, these half-rounds I think will be toilets or "Heads" as I think they are called. Will cut, sand and put some putty on these. Also started on the grate hatch on the lower gun deck, but found that even though I bought the paint kit for Santisima Trinidad, it didn't include stain, apparently to be used on this one. So it's on hold until I get these in the mail. I am really happy that these came premade though, on the BB Bounty they have to me made.

My first model boat project, Bounty by Billing Boats, is almost finished ( in the background of the picture ). Now I can't wait to start on my new project Santisima Trinidad. This set already has an excellent review by @James H, so I'll skip that and start on step 1 of the instructions shortly. Bounty has given me so many therapy hours, despite a lot of wondering and studying of the drawings. But I got there, even though I made a lot of mistakes. I've learned a lot and I'm looking forward to the journey ahead. This time I am going to document the process here, so maybe I can get some advices as I go to a beginner in the hobby as my self.
