Deck planking pattern on the Mayflower

I'm about to start on the deck planking of the Mayflower.

 

Does anybody know what the planking pattern on a galleon of this era would have been?

You can even ask yourself the qeustion whether or not

there would have been any strict planking scheme....

The deck planking on Vasa, as presented in Vol. I of the publication of this ship seemed, to my eye, to be more expedient than to a strict pattern.
