My last one completed was the Caldercraft HMS Victory. This one has been enjoyable to build, not as long as it did with the Victory! dennis jones Posted March 30, 2013 Author #4 Posted March 30, 2013 The above pic shows the blocks that came in the kit and the one on the right was purchased. Much better quality. I laid a string along the port side to see the natural flow of the gun ports, then marked the height of the ports.

dennis jones Posted March 30, 2013 Author #22 Posted March 30, 2013 I should have measured twice befor cutting the gun ports. You can see the pencil marks where I have to move the ports and after I moved them and filled them in with wood. At least it was done on the first planking !

Your Wasa is looking very nice indeed, keep it going.
