I have been struggling with the metal railings as they are not shaped well at all to fit the boat. Did you heat them to re shape or ??  Thanks for your help.

Depends on which ones you are talking about.  The ones that I had difficulty with were the curved ones at the bow and forward cockpit.  In fact, one of the stanchions broke off the railing and I had to glue it back on.

 

I did not heat them.  Just bending and fitting.

Building this also.  Tried emailing Amati twice for a replacement part but no reply whatsoever. Shame on them really. They make great products but i found the after sales very disappointing, so beware on that point.

Try the retailers, yes it's a longer step but they can be to help sometimes. Good luck.
