Hi, I am new to this amazing website. My name is Francisco, 52. from Almeria, Southern Spain.

I started building this kit about 10 years ago. This fact is of some relevance since the pictures of every step in the building process were lost along with my laptop during a trip, something that I regret to this day. To make up for this slip I attach some pictures of the current state of this vessel. Which, in my opinion is pretty advanced considering the little amount of time that I have devoted to this hobby so far.

I have some previous experience in building kits, so far, I have built ICTINEO II, AMERICA´S CUP ENDEVOUR, REVENUE CUTTER PILAR and SAN JUAN NEPOMUCENO. 

According to the manufacturer´s instructions I am in the last steps prior to the rigging stage. In fact I am currently building the cannon ports. To this aim I have built a jig which picture you can find attached and which saves me many hours in order to properly align the hinges and to drill the 1mm hole for the lifting rope.

I very much hope that you do not get bored with my log and look forward to learning from you all guys.
