Blue Ensign Posted June 30, 2013 #2 Posted June 30, 2013 Knightheads usually had sheaves running tho' them two, sometimes three, and often with belaying pins horizontally thro' the top part. Lees shows lines attaching to knightheads in his rigging plans of ships of the first quarter of the 18th century.
