Looking good Udo.

I am also building the Endeavour.

I am onto the 2nd layer planks, above the wales.

My first layer - had several planks that split when bending at the bow.

I'll keep on eye on your log.

Cheers Dave

Thank you Dave for stopping by.

Wale on the starbord side has been completed.

As mentioned earlier I'am not using the kit supplied planks, the wale consists of a 4mm x 1,5mm walnut Strip for the blackstrake and four strips 3mm x 2mm for the wale.

Before constructing the wales I have compared the kit drawings to the AotS, it matches very well.

Hi, I've had this kit in storage for a while and just starting it now. I read your post regarding the deck cannons being too big and after checking mine against the plans discovered that I had the same problem. According to the plan they should be 30mm not 45mm long. So thanks for the heads up and to the advise to contact JoTiKa which I've just done.

Cheers and hope the build is coming along ok.
