Started this build a few weeks ago. Hull all shaped and started the painting  process.

I have gotten the hull painted and the brass rod installed  on the hull. I am going to wait on the bow Decorative brasswork, until after the Bowsprit it is installed. 

 

The deck houses made a little bit more sanding and then staining. 

 

I need to take some time to figure  out the rest of the deck connections for the rigging.

Looks like you are off to a very good start! That is a gorgeous kit that really depends on a good paint job to "be all it can be" and it seems like you nailed it.

Finished up the deck furniture and started to mount the bits and cleats. I Have the mast spreader  cut and painted.  Working on the masts and booms. 

 

It is going to be a few weeks before a can do any more work  on the model.
