HM Cutter Sherbourne by WWR4 - Vanguard Models - 1:64

I recently finished my Model Shipways Dory and loved the new experience.

I have chosen the Vanguard HM Armed Cutter Sherbourne as my next model.

I was so pleased with the ordering and delivery from the UK to Texas. Had the kit in 10 days and the packaging was impressive.

I was able to work on the kit for over 4 hours this past weekend which was great.

I’m very impressed as a beginner by the quality of this kit and its instructions.

that with the YouTube videos has instilled some confidence in this novice!

I had a hiccup installing the false deck. I should have sanded the slots a little so I wasn’t so heavy handed pushing into place. It caused a little fracturing on the right side near the slots.

But it’s sitting flush so I think it will be okay?

I started sanding the hull this evening. I’ll start light on the first side then see how a plank lines up. 
I hope I get this right so the planking goes well.
