Hi

A bit of a cheat I know but has anyone ever used iron on veneers for the second planking ?

They seem reasonably cheap thin and flexible available in all sorts of exotic woods I was thinking of cutting it into plank sized pieces

Any thoughts ?

They work well on Large FLAT surfaces, but compound cures on ships hull I think you might be creating more trouble than you think I have use some on a piece of furniture I made, good but damp is a problem as the glue can break down.

I know Doris uses veneer on her card models, is this the same stuff (knowing me the answer will be no)

All the best
