    This was how the sail looked at museum.

    This is the sail. Yes it will be out of scale. But i am too much of a noob to even think of trying "pulling the thread" techniques etc. I visited the swedish National Historical Museum and took a lot of pictures on the large Oseberg model the have. I have constructed the sail after their theory of how it was made.

    This is partly what i a have been doing since last. as you can see i have rebuilt some of the smaller parts. And have also begun construction of the sail. I have also built the mast, but forgot to take some pictures of that work.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
