If this is a re-post I apologize. Super cool website. It also animates the knots in three speeds.

Rich,
Looks great! I am getting way behind you and Sam. I still haven't rebuilt my build log yet. It was very spring-like in Idaho this weekend so I was doing yard work and took the flyrod out for the first time this year as well.
I am about 2/3's of the way done with the first planking of the hull and nearly done planking the deck. I am going to try and get my log built this week.
Cheers.

Nice job Rich. The newer Enterprise kit has many improvements over the older version. The rudder install and the head rails look really nice.

Woo-hoo! Second planking is finished, well at least as far as I can go at this time. I think it came out pretty well and I got the look I was after. Actually I think this was the easiest second planking I've done in any of my models. It's not perfect but that's what paint and copper are for! Here are some pics before filler and sanding. I'm about 9 weeks into it and have built a fence in the garden and painted the sun-room during that time, so I'm happy with the progress so far.

Edit 03/25/2020
I have been very humbled to hear of several new builders of this kit mention this build log as a reference. thank you, I hope it helps you out. That being said, at some point I threw the instructions away and began using Lees Masting and Rigging as well as Antscheral Fully Framed as inspiration and guidance. There are most likely many details that are incorrect for the ship. I used the building experience more to learn techniques to build a model I was satisfied with visually rather than an historically correct museum build.
So, carry on and enjoy!!
Well..... where to start?? Unfortunate about the hard drive crash. I guess Murphy lives around every corner. And to think I was going to save my build log before the change...... It could be worse, MSW could be gone forever or my actual build could be gone forever.
I am working ridiculous hours at work, sometime in the next week I will get a couple of pictures up and start posting again.
One thing I see that I love already.... SPELL CHECK!!!! Woo Hooo!
Ok back with a real post soon.
