@Popeye: I just followed the curves of the hull Second planking is done. Today I wanted to start painting the hull but all my admirilitypaint "Dull White" changed in.......white water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three bottles which I ordered 3 month ago!!!!! So I had to throw away €20,= paint. In all those years of building I never saw that before.... So I have to wait till the new paint arrives Hennie

Hi Sjors! Thx and the last picture is already the second planking, which I just finished this evening. So tomorrow I'll start sanding the whole thing, drawing the waterline, put some 2x3mm planks on the hull, and than start painting the hull. Gr. Hennie

I finished the topside of the hull for now. Last week I did some paint work and half of the railing. The railing on the frontdeck is completely scratched. The prefab pieces broke into ten parts trying to get it fixed. The next weeks I will try to finish the planking of the hull. Hennie

I was afraid I would never get these peaces fitted. Had to be bend in many ways. The two peaces toke me over 2 hours but I am very satisfied with the results. I also modified the angle, because otherwise it would cover half of the canon port. Hennie

Hi all, Time for an update. Hopefully it goes right this time, because when I choose my photo's and submit reply, the program puts everyting in the wrong order (????) This week I spent most time on the stern. Had to do many modifications but I am quit satisfied with the result.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
