Tonight was decal-time. Big milestone for the project because this was the last part to be added before I start on the ropes and gaffs/booms. The kit decals were not stored well and were both shabby and bent. Had a local company scan them and make pre- cut letters. The Syren rope will arrive in a month or so and a break in the project will occour…

Getting crowded in there. Still 3 more servo’s and battery for lightning and the pump, buck converters and pwm for the flow of cooling water to install. All lightning in lanterns will be fed with 1 mm optic cables and central lightning will be yellow leds. Rudder and motor is installed and working😃 IMG_4994.MOV

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
