  1. I'm 69 and have been building models since childhood. All the plastic stuff and rockets. Always fun. I have finished one wood ship model. The NY Pilot Boat. It was quite a learning experience. By the time I was done I wished I could start over because I had progressed so much. I am terribly proud of my model simply because I got it done. I considered buying another ship with a pre-shaped hull but went with the English Pinnace. I was at the point where I needed to plank the hull. There are so many methods and information I was boggled. Then I took my own advice...don't rush, study and practice on scrap if possible. I had so many questions and finding answers was a struggle. Then I found English Pinnace by EricWilliamMarshall. Great Just great! He answered several of the questions in his build log that popped into my mind. Great Just Great. I backed up and am doing some cleaning up of what I have already done to make my further work easier and better. I doubt I will do more ships beyond the Pinnace. I look forward to looking at pictures and reading the articles
