  1. I started the project in the middle of another one and due to limited space I wanted to not have sandpapering and etc for a while. The kit is excellent and very cheap to start with paper models although not the easiest perhaps. In the photo below, the first 26 steps have been completed. In step 27 the mast base and radar platform was cut and glued in place. Next the anchors and breakwater was cut and glued in place. Assembled and glued in place the the escape two hatches Finally for today I prepared and double glued the pieces for the steps 32-23. To keep them straight I placed them under a heavy 2" angle plate.

  7. Greetings to all members, I started modeling many years ago and have built quite a few, mostly cars and motorcycles. Some time ago I started the reconstruction of Le Superbe - 1784 - 1:60 Scale - French 74 Gun Ship of the Line and at the same time the construction of Endeavor by Amati. In the meantime, as a break!!, I will also try a paper model. I chose the Celtic Voyager from Paper Shipwright company. That's it for now and I'll try to post the progress of each project. Le Superbe - 1784 - 1:60 Scale - French 74 Gun Ship of the Line. The model from Falconstein, although very detailed in some places, I judged that it requires to stand out better, such as gun ports, etc. So I decided to rebuild the model in several places. The work is still in progress. Le Superbe  - 1784 - 1:60 Scale - French 74 Gun Ship of the Line Endeavor by Amati. 1:80 Scale. A very nice kit for the Italian manufacturer. The work is still in progress. Celtic Voyager by Paper Shipwright. 1:250 Scale. A marvelous little kit !! The size is really microscopic but all the details is here. The work is still in progress.
