Hello Everyone.
I am Arif, I am a new member at MSW. So Far I have built 3 models, The Bounty (Billings Boats)
The HMS Endeavour (C. Mamoli) The Black Pearl, a low budget Chinese Kit.
I am still in the learning phase, and can use all the help I can get.
I am on the cusp of embarking on my biggest project The San Felipe this is a ZHL Kit (Chinese) at first glance the materials look robust, how they behave when I start working on it is yet to be seen. The instructions are poor, no scale drawings the parts list is i chinese, about 40 odd pictures on how to build step by step.
I have been searching the YouTube for a detailed build of the San Felipe, but havent found anything yet.
I will do my best to post a build log and post pictures as frequently as I can.Thank you.
Arif

Good morning, lol I'm in Somerset
I'm doing the fore mast lower yard with the 3 smaller blocks either side, the lines come from the tie off points through the mast top aft, then through the forward blocks and to the blocks on the yard its self, they don't go any further unless sails are attached, they just look like a knot has been tied on the line to prevent it being pulled back through hope you and family are OK?

Hi Kevin
Tried to send you a PM but did something wrong. - As I said in my post I am sorry to hear you have to give away scratch building. I'm also getting to the age that I think I may have only one of two left in me. Mate as you can see I'm in Australia and had a look at the conversion rate which is going to cost me $350 Au but I am very interested. My daughter is living in London at the moment and could organise shipping to Australia for me if you could get it there by the cheapest and most convenient method for you? Let me know if we can do a deal. Regards Pete Best

Good morning Pete, just weighed it on the human scale at 12 kgs, i will need to box it, and providing I can keep the weight under 15kgs i can get it delivered to London with insurance with a value of upto £200 for about £17, I will therefore sell for a total of £210 via paypal if that meets within your criteria
